Who are your champions?

Who are your champions?

The people who will wholeheartedly celebrate your successes?

Who you get to shine with?

Who see the future version of you that you’re becoming, even when you can’t see it yourself?

Many years ago someone asked me who I got to be unapologetically successful with, and it really stuck with me.

When we are going through change and exploring what we want to create in our lives - it can be easy to get stuck, lost, disheartened.

When we are doing well, it’s often hard to see it unless someone holds a mirror up and reflects it back.

When we feel like it’s not working, having someone help us zoom out and see how far we’ve come is a useful gift.

When we’re in an interview process, it can really help for someone to remind us of our successes, and the unique gifts we bring.

Sometimes it’s people who have been there your whole life.

Sometimes it’s people for a phase or a stage - a season or a reason.

Sometimes it’s a new group who can help you settle into a new direction.

No matter where you are, take a moment to think about who has been this for you.

The person who:

  • Celebrates how brilliant you are.

  • Is delighted by how you are growing and where you are heading.

  • Believes wholeheartedly that you’ll get where you want to go.

Who are your champions?

And who might you want to be a champion for?

Wishing you all a week of being championed on your journey,
