Do you like to dive straight in?

Do you like to dive straight in?

To say yes in the moment?

To trust your gut, make fast decisions and get into action?

And does that work for you?

Or not?

Because there can be different speeds to make great choices.

For some of us, saying yes in the moment is the perfect thing to do.

There’s a strong gut pull, or a sense of inner knowing. An immediate yes that feels just right in the body.

It leads to just the right opportunities - even if it doesn’t quite make sense logically - or to other people.

For some of us, it’s the wrong thing to do - even if it doesn’t quite make sense logically - or to other people.

It’s better to take some time to decide - to sleep on it and review in the morning, or in a few days. Or to talk it over, until the answer becomes clear.

Saying yes in the moment can lead to regret, and feeling stuck in projects or places that don’t give us energy. And by then there’s a commitment, so…

It can be incredibly useful to reflect on what works best for us as individuals.

Can we make great decisions in the moment, or is it better for us to take some time to decide?

Both are absolutely fine, but it really helps to know.

For us, and for the people around us, so we can respect what works for each other.

Then we can either dive straight in with gusto - or take some time at the edge to decide.

Wishing you all a week of decision making that feels just right for you,
